"Viking" smoked salt - juniper, 160 g.
Viking smoked salt "Juniper" from Denmark.
For barbecue nights, festive tables, Germanic weddings - traditional Germanic weddings.
Smoked salt as a gift idea for marriage/nuptials.
Impressive, robust flavor, aromatic smoke, fire, intense seasoning. These impressions are conveyed by the appearance and aroma of what is arguably the finest Danish smoked salt variety available today. By the way, only about 5% of all smoked salts are genuinely smoked. Most smoked salts are infused with smoke flavorings.
Our smoked salt is made exclusively from Dead Sea salt – smoked in the Viking style. Juniper wood is specially imported from Norway for this purpose, as low-pollutant wood grows there. The salt smoked with juniper wood is popular with many of our customers because of its many aromatic nuances, which make it soft on the palate and spicy in taste. The salt is smoked at 65 - 85 degrees in a specially developed oven using a lengthy and costly process.
When using this salt, you get a glimpse into how the Nordic peoples obtained their salt. Seawater or brine was poured onto a burning fire. The water evaporated, and the precipitated salt adhered to the charred logs. The salt was scraped from the wood and could be used.
Viking smoked salt is excellent for:
Eggs, tomatoes, cucumbers, fish, and all types of meat. It gives steak a special flavor of meat cooked over fire – even if it's prepared in the oven.
Shelf life is unlimited. The salt container should always be tightly sealed to prevent the smoky aroma from being lost.
