Viking Axe Pendant made of bronze. (Modeled after a Viking Age axe).
Viking axe blade modeled after the axe from Jutland / Mammen from the tenth century from Jutland.
The original axe had silver wire inlays, a bird, animals with limbs, and other ornaments.
It dates from the 10th century and is now in the National Museum in Copenhagen. The axe is a grave find.
It was placed in the grave of a Viking around 970 AD, during the reign of Harald Bluetooth (Old Norse "Haraldr blátǫnn").
