Iron pots were very common and widely used as camp kettles by the Germanic tribes and Vikings in the Middle Ages.
This iron pot is a historical prop, produced in small quantities through pure handcraft.
Unfortunately, the food-grade certification required by law would significantly impact the selling price, so this medieval iron kettle is only offered as a prop,
which, by definition, is not certified for contact with food.

This beautiful iron pot, in the style of the Viking Age and the Middle Ages, is completely forged from one piece and features an artfully crafted handle.
The Viking Age camp kettle was handcrafted and treated with cooking oil to protect against rust.
The pot has a capacity of approx. 1.3 liters (not rust-free!).
