Dough mold / cookie cutter "Deer Eikthyrnir" stainless steel
The Edda:
The Lay of Grimnir...
It says:
Eikthyrnir is the hart, that stands on Heervater's hall,
and bites off Lærad's limbs.
From his horns
it drips into Hwergelmir,
thereby all waters make their way:
Eikþyrnir heitir hjörtr,
er stendr höllu á
ok bítr af Læraðs limum;
en af hans hornum
drýpr í Hvergelmi,
þaðan eiga vötn öll vega:
Eikthyrnir stands on the roof of Valhalla and gnaws at the branches of the Protective Tree Lärad, which stands in the middle of Odin's hall in Walla. The world tree “Yggdrasil”.
Perhaps "Lärad" refers to the world ash Yggdrasil or the protective crown of the tree.
From Eikthyrnir's antlers flows the water Hvergelmir, from which all streams are fed. - Hvergelmir is the primordial spring of the wells of primal being and is thus the source of creation itself.
The deer is connected to the protective rune Algiz.
