To the honor of the Frisians, more Frisian spirit! Anyone who has ever seen "burning" Frisian spirit glasses and heard the authentic Frisian spirit toast will rave about this spectacle again and again. Experience Frisian tradition in a particularly beautiful facet – the strong yet mild character of this 56% ABV original from the North Sea coast.

The Frisian tribe was first mentioned by Pliny the Elder. They had initially sided with the Romans in 12 BC, but later became bitter enemies. Before being subjugated by Charles Martel and later by Charlemagne, the Frisians expanded their territory in the preceding centuries. Charlemagne's policies granted the individual tribes a degree of autonomy. Towards the end of the 8th century, the tribal laws (Lex Frisionum) were codified.
In the 12th century, following the expulsion of the Frankish counts, the so-called "Frisian Freedom" began. This was a system of small rural communities, organized freely and cooperatively, and subject only to the emperor. Once a year, the delegates of these communities met at the Upstalsboom in Rahe near Aurich. This assembly began with the cry "Eala Frya Fresena" ("Arise, you free Frisians!"), to which the response was "Lewer duad üs Slav" ("Better dead than a slave"). This motto is featured in the North Frisian coat of arms.
The end of Frisian freedom began around 1498.

Like a will-o'-the-wisp in the moor, it flickers upwards, extinguish, drink up, enjoy quietly in true Frisian style, to the honor of the Frisians, more of the Frisian spirit.
Friesengeistes is a pure, high-proof grain spirit that has been infused with fruit and herbal extracts.
