This beautifully shaped belt bag is typical of the late Middle Ages and can be found in this form in numerous contemporary paintings and in archaeological finds. It is made of a firm yet supple grease nubuck leather and is fitted with a contemporary buckle replica. These kidney pouches were particularly typical in the Late Middle Ages in the 14th and 15th centuries.
The detailed replica of a medieval buckle based on a historical model is the eye-catcher on the front of the kidney pouch and ensures a secure closure.
