A fascinating voice, virtuoso musicians, and captivating arrangements, united in a deep love for the North: all of this is offered by the album "Saga".

Beautiful ballads and melodies, carried by the rich sound of Nordic instruments and the magical voice of Saga Björling.

The singer from Gotland and the ensemble Poeta Magica, rooted in Nordic folk and medieval music, create a soundscape that ranges from solitary Nordic forests to lovely lakes in summer light. The ensemble, led by multi-instrumentalist Holger Funke, features Celtic harp, string instruments, Swedish bagpipes, and, above all, the nyckelharpa, the Swedish national instrument. The multifaceted nyckelharpa playing of Holger Funke and Boris Koller, interwoven with the nuanced percussion of Friederike Funke, the brilliant harp playing of Katja Hütte, and the accented open-tune guitar sound of Jørgen Lang, combines with the enchanting vocals of Saga Björling to create a sound that transcends time and space.
