CD Carved in Stone - Tales of Glory and Tragedy

Carved in Stone is the solo project of artist Swawa, who previously worked as a keyboardist and vocalist in various metal bands before joining Taunusheim.

Following the successful releases of "The Forgotten Belief" in 2001 and "Hear the Voice" in 2004, CARVED IN STONE returns in autumn 2007 with their second full-length album, titled "Tales of Glory & Tragedy". The album was again recorded in collaboration with Schwarzdorn Production.
Stylistically, vocalist Swawa has remained true to her Mystic Folk, and "Tales of Glory & Tragedy" features a new collection of unique ballads and narratives, embedded in the atmospheric sounds of acoustic instruments.
Merciless destinies, almost forgotten creatures, and fallen heroes accompany the listener who follows them through another time and another world, where human knowledge seems to play no role.
The accompanying artwork for "Tales of Glory & Tragedy" was once again created by HvemSkulle, who was also responsible for the visual design of the two predecessors and who, with this work, again succeeds in creating a perfect harmony between music and visuals.
