Narrow Viking belt with strap end based on a Norwegian find.

The Viking belt features a strap tongue and buckle in the Borre style, based on a find from the 9th-10th century.
The buckle and strap end of this Viking belt, which is only 1.5 cm wide, are based on a Norwegian find in the Borre style, one of the seven major art styles of the Viking Age.
The belt strap is made of vegetable-tanned cowhide leather with a thickness of 2 - 2.5 mm and is perfect for historical clothing in LARP and Viking reenactment.
Two embossed lines along the strap edges further emphasize the elegant shape of this narrow Viking belt.
The Borre style, also known as the Beasts style, is a widespread stylistic period in Viking Age art from the 9th to the 10th centuries. It is named after the village of Borre in the Norwegian municipality of Horten, located on the western shore of the Oslofjord. Characteristic of the Borre style are its animal and knot motifs, which appear on numerous pieces of Viking Age jewelry. The Borre style is one of the earlier of the seven major Viking art styles and was superseded by the Jelling style during the 10th century.
The belt is long enough to be worn knotted. The belt circumference can easily be further reduced or increased using a hole punch.
